During its fall event, Apple just unveiled its new hardware lineup. The “It’s Glowtime” event revealed the Series 10 Apple Watch and the iPhone 16 series, as well as a black Watch Ultra 2 model.
Online rumors about the upcoming watch have begun to circulate, even though sales of the recently released wearable have not yet begun. A trustworthy insider claims that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will make its debut in 2025.
There were rumors that Apple would introduce the Watch Series 10 and the Watch Ultra 3 prior to the September 9 launch. However, this was untrue. And now, Ming-Chi Kuo, an international expert, predicts that the updated Watch SE and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 will launch in 2025’s third quarter.
According to Apple’s usual annual release schedule, new smartwatches and iPhones will likely launch at the same time. This might coincide with the announcement of the iPhone 17 series, which is anticipated to replace the recently announced iPhone 16 devices.
Kuo previously forecast that Apple had not begun development on a Watch Ultra 2 replacement in October 2023. Furthermore, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg updated his prediction, indicating that Apple would merely release a new color option for the existing Watch Ultra 2, as opposed to a brand-new device.
Apple Watch Series 10: What is new
The new Apple Watch Series 10 features a bigger display compared to its predecessor. It is also the slimmest watch so far in the Apple-verse.Despite being almost 10 per cent thinner than previous models like Series 7, Series 8, and Series 9, it houses Apple’s largest and most advanced display ever.
The watch comes in two sizes, 42mm and 46mm, with a choice of aluminium or titanium cases in various finishes, like jet black, rose gold, and slate. The aluminium version is 10 per cent lighter than Series 9, and the titanium case is 20 per cent lighter than the stainless steel version.
It boasts a powerful battery backup as well. The business claims that after just 15 minutes of charging, the device can be used for up to 8 hours per day or for tracking sleep.Users who use the watch day and night will find it more handy as it can charge up to 80% in just thirty minutes.
In India, the cost of the Apple Watch Series 10 is Rs 46,900. The first day of the sale is September 20.Additionally, Apple introduced the less expensive Apple Watch SE, with a starting price of Rs 24,900.
