Anil Arora, the father of actor-model Malaika Arora, is said to have committed suicide by leaping from his Mumbai residential building.
He reportedly leaped from his Bandra building’s rooftop at around nine in the morning. He was taken to the hospital by a team of Bandra police officers who had hurried to the scene, but they had already pronounced him dead. The inquiry is still ongoing, and the precise cause of the tragedy is unknown.
When Malaika was eleven years old, her parents separated, and she and her mother, Amrita Arora, relocated to Chembur. Her father, Anil Arora, was a Punjabi who served in the Indian Merchant Navy, and her mother, Joyce Polycarp, is a Malayali Christian.
A day before Anil Arora’s purported suicide, Malaika and Amrita had met him
Although Malaika and Amrita Arora hurried to their father’s home following his purported sad death by suicide, photos and videos circulated by the media show that the two sisters had met the day before he committed suicide by jumping. Both Amrita and Malaika were seen walking their dogs when they left the Bandra home with a smile on their faces. However, they returned the following day after learning of Anil’s passing.
